As a Senior Content Manager, you will be shaping the company’s content strategy from the ground up. As the only in-house content expert, you will be responsible for both setting the content direction and leading its production. Accordingly, you should be as excited about big-picture strategizing as you are about getting your hands dirty in the weeds of execution. As a storyteller at heart, the actual art of writing must still be an exciting feat for you. We are looking for someone to share our story and educate the industry on the value of its brand and product via creative, well-crafted content initiatives.
What you will do:
- Develop the company’s writing style, setting the bar for the brand’s tone and voice, and advocate internally that all external facing assets be held to that standard
- Own our content strategy, identifying key themes that resonate with our target audience across varied verticals
- Keep a pulse on industry trends and account for these in content creation
- Develop quality content assets, accounting for varied mediums and asset types, to align with steps in the our buyer’s journey
- Collaborate with (1) marketing and sales to develop content that feeds the top of funnel, (2) product on technical writing and knowledge base assets that support onboarding and increased adoption (3) management on content that promotes the business agenda and highlights key partnerships (4) partners on partner-driven content that leverages external subject matter expertise and highlights our partnership network
- Ideate, research, and write deep-insight pieces that leverage both qualitative and quantitative analyses
- Manage our owned content channels and content calendar
- Hire expert help in content adjacent fields (SEO) as needed and manage relationships with outsourced vendors
- Test experiential content formats that deliver creative brand and/or product experiences and drive increased engagement
What you should have:
- 4+ years’ experience in a content marketing, copywriting, or strategic marketing role
- Native-level English
- Excellent writing skills
- A creative yet analytical mindset
- Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude
- Be comfortable with the unknown
- Be autonomous and able to operate independently with little hand holding
- Ability to translate technical concepts into digestible formats
- High level of organization
- Experience in the fintech sector is a plus
