Technical Writer

INFINIDAT is looking for a Senior Technical Writer to join our Product Management team. The Technical Writer creates, coordinates and enhances our product documentation and related documents.

We are looking for a Technical Writer who has the capability to express technical content in a fashion that would suite novice and advanced readers in the Storage field. Typical documentation audience include IT administrators and technicians.

INFINIDAT Product Management group is shaping the next paradigm in data storage, product documentation included. Product Management group is responsible for overall product portfolio - shaping the road-map and strategic directions. The Product Management group is a nexus between business and engineering - with a strong footing in each.

As a technical writer in INFINIDAT you must be able to communicate with several areas of the company. You will work with engineering to create end-user product documentation and with marketing team to create white-papers. You will also work with other engineering teams to create documentation for internal consumption by technical engineers, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Creating end-user documentation based on system and feature specifications
• Produce high-quality procedure documents that users can read and follow
• Prepare other documentation material as needed

Required Skills & Experience:

• Experienced technical writer with 10 years or more in enterprise software or similar companies
• Experience writing clear and concise procedural documentation for a technical audience, including feature descriptions, user stories, and release notes using industry best practices
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Candidate should be able to produce evidence or samples of documentation
• Experience with common documentation software and tools like Confluence, Flare, XML, DITA and alike is highly desirable
• Candidates should be self-motivated, and have the ability to efficiently manage their own projects and produce reports on their progress
• Fluent English and reasonable Hebrew allowing technical discussions with SMEs in Hebrew

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in documentation of enterprise storage product
