Israel Standard Time: Clocks turned back an hour

JNS

Daylight saving time will return on March 28, 2025.

Israelis turned their clocks back an hour overnight Saturday, marking an end to daylight saving time in 2024.

Clocks were officially turned back at 2 a.m. early on Sunday morning.

They will be turned forward again on March 28, 2025.

In 2013, Israeli lawmakers passed legislation extending daylight saving time from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October.

The United States will switch back clocks on Nov. 3.
