Job Description:

Skilled accountant to maintain our financial records and prepare monthly financial reports. You will work directly with the head of accounting, CFO, as well as the accounting departments across the firm to ensure the financial records are updated timely and accurately, create monthly reports, and analyze investments P&L. Additionally, you will work with our accounting team and collaborate with colleagues in trading and operations. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our organization and make a significant impact within our finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • Record day-to-day financial transactions, including entries for cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, loans, accrued expenses, revenue, and expenses.
  • Perform the month-end close process
  • Monthly meetings with the finance teams of our investment entities to review and analyze investment performance.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and prepare payments to be made.
  • Daily and monthly quality assurance checks are performed on information received internally and from external vendors.
  • Assist in the preparation of investor statements.
  • Assessing existing accounting processes and proposing improved solutions with the goal of increased accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness.
  • Assist in implementing monthly reporting controls process to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in accounting or other relevant finance-related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of accrual-based accounting.
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.

Native-level English is required, Hebrew is beneficial but not required.
