This individual will be responsible for the following functions:
o Assist our clients with and oversee Staff Accountants with the following:
o SEC audit and review preparation,
o Monthly financial closings,
o Financial modeling including budgeting, forecasting, and projections,
o Assistance with accounting procedures,
o Review of back office and accounting staff work,
o Assessment and improvement of financial processes and internal controls,
o Prepare and review financial statements for both the public and private sector including disclosures for audit, review and compilation engagements
o Assume responsibility of the efficiency of performance for engagements
o Develop and maintain client relationships
o Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
Job requirements:
Qualifications:
o A minimum of 2-5 years public accounting experience
o Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting. CPA / MBA Preferred
o Excellent knowledge of GAAP and Statutory Accounting Principles
o Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data
o Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
o Possess outstanding project management and analytical skills; must be able to prioritize
o Outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
o High level of English
