$5,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month if standard quotas are met. (Draw/Commission structure + Override)

We are looking for an experienced Solar Energy Sales Territory Manager to join our growing solar energy company. We are nationwide (including Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan) operating in the residential, commercial, industrial and Utility Grade solar energy industries. This is a hybrid position that can be done in person or remotely focusing on B2C residential solar energy solutions. As a Solar Energy Sales Territory Manager, you will be in charge of a team of Solar Energy Consultants, providing them with guidance, training and creating sales appointment setting/closing strategies to meet sales quotas. Your primary duties will include holding sales training meetings, monitoring Solar Energy Consultants weekly, monthly and quarterly progress, assisting Solar Energy Consultants in closing deals, and project management support for your Territory. Other duties include recruiting new Solar Energy Consultants, analyzing the needs of the customer, calculating resources, and providing after-sales support.

To ensure success as a Solar Energy Sales Territory Manager, you should have excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for solar energy, and a solid background in sales management. Ultimately, a top-class Solar Energy Sales Territory Manager builds a rapport with their consultants, customers and is a team player that is focused on getting results and meeting quotas.

Solar Energy Sales Territory Manager Responsibilities:

Regularly meeting sales quotas.

Meeting with Consultants at site locations.

Meeting with Consultants virtually.

Training Consultants to competent levels.

Assisting Consultants in setting appointments and closing deals.

Gathering information to accurately identify the customer’s solar needs.

Completing and gathering all necessary paperwork for processing.

Providing after-sales service including courtesy calls and site visits.

Generating referral leads for new accounts.

Recruiting Solar Sales Consultants.




Solar Energy Sales Territory Manager Requirements:

1 year experience in Sales Management

1 year experience in the solar energy industry.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Professional appearance and a friendly disposition.

Ability to relate technical information in layman’s terms.

Ability to travel and work irregular hours.

Basic knowledge of Office software.

You must have reliable transportation.



Pay types:

Commission pay (from deals personally closed)

Override (from deals closed by assigned consultants)

Bonus pay
