We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to work within the Quality Assurance Team to improve the quality of software products - web and mobile apps - prior to release to customers.
Responsibilities:
Read and analyze product specs. Raise questions about specs to Product Management
Write test plans that verify that the products meet the specs
Execute manual tests, analyze results, isolate the conditions that cause errors
Check logs and the database as part of verification and analysis
Work with Development to assist with analyzing unexpected software behavior
Document bugs correctly, clearly, concisely, and completely. Verify fixes
Write Postman scripts and run them, to verify that APIs function correctly
Requirements:
Hard Skills-
Strong knowledge of software testing principles, methodologies, and techniques - 1-3 years of experience
Proficiency in writing and executing test plans and cases
Ability to identify, report, and track defects or issues in software applications
Experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications
Proficiency in functional and regression testing
Knowledge of SQL and ability to write basic queries
Familiarity with defect tracking tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Working knowledge of Postman - big advantage
Understanding of basic programming concepts and coding - advantage
