Biblical and Talmudic botanist Dr. Jon Greenberg is bringing his Torah Flora programs to Jerusalem!
Dr. Greenberg is the author of the Biblical botany Web site TorahFlora.org and Fruits of Freedom, a Pesach Hagadah with a commentary from the perspective of the history of Jewish food and agriculture. Come learn the forgotten meanings of plants and foods in ancient Israel and Egypt that give meaning to the metaphors of the prophets and Midrashim and the laws of the Torah and Talmud. See how Torah and science can enrich one another.
The two events are listed below. You can read all the details on the Events page of TorahFlora.org. Space for these walking tours is limited. E-mail Dr. Greenberg ([email protected]) to reserve a place for either or both tours.
