MANAGING EDITOR
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic American agency covering the Middle East in a leadership capacity.
We're seeking an experienced EDITOR with journalistic experience to manage The Media Line’s bureau and its Press and Policy Student Program, and social media output.
This is a unique chance to combine working in a real-time news environment, and train our future journalists.
Responsibilities include managing news flow and distribution as well as mentoring and editing. You will be helping to build the successful Press and Policy Program, serving as liaison to universities.
Candidate must have ability to work with management and have excellent interpersonal skills and foster teamwork.
Must have college degree, strong journalism background and minimum of five years’ experience as a senior editor and reporter.
Must have strong background in knowledge of the Middle East.
Multi-media a plus; Hebrew and Arabic also a plus.
