A Real Estate and Land development investment firm is seeking a sales oriented, self motivated professional to join our acquisitions team. This position is for someone enjoys communicating and connecting with others. (Real estate license/experience are not required)
Reporting to the Managing Partners, the Acquisition Associates position is the ideal opportunity for a highly-motivated, sales oriented professional to gain experience in the real estate investment and land development worlds. The Acquisitions Associate primarily makes outbound calls and emails to source new investment opportunities, and cultivates a network of relationships with other real estate,land owners banking, and legal professionals to source additional investment opportunities.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Call and email property owners and their representatives from our database to qualify new investment opportunities.
Track case and property activity and follow up regularly with open opportunities.
Establish and maintain relationships with industry professionals, including brokers, attorneys, and bankers.
Advise these relationships of our investment criteria and interests, and follow up on opportunities.
To be successful in this role you must bring:
1-5 years of inside sales experience.
A confident and friendly demeanor, and comfort with rejection.
Extraordinarily high level of motivation and commitment to working hard.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and investment professionals.
Self-starter, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and on a collaborative basis as part of a team.
