The Role & Responsibilities:
The Server Side Developer will be responsible for designing and implementing performant & scalable back-end solutions. The objective is well tested, easy to operate, end-to-end solutions for the business and our customers.
Your day to day involves designing systems, coding brilliantly, learning quickly, writing automated test suites, creating monitoring solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation in English for clients. You will be comfortable communicating digitally with team members and clients as we are a remote first company. Our primary programming language is Node.js but also involves Java, Solidity, Ethereum, Mongo, Terraform, AWS (ECS, Lambdas, EC2, ALBs, S3, Kinesis, OpenSearch), Github, Jira, Postman & Markdown.
We work in squads so you will be working closely with product managers, QA, server, and front-end engineers as a cohesive team. You will be reporting to the Backend Team Lead.
