Position Overview
- Title: Instructor of 1-2 courses: "Mitkadmim" I or II level and/or Literature for advanced non-native speakers of English
- Dates: Acad. year 2023-24 for 1-2 semesters (Oct. 2023 – July 2024)
- Reports to: Director of the English Program
- Location: Shalem College, Jerusalem, Israel
Position and Responsibilities
Teaching 1-2 courses at Advanced I or II and/or Literature for advanced non-native speakers of English.
Qualifications
- MA or above required, with strong background in the Humanities
- Native-level spoken and written English
- Experience and interest in teaching both English Language (EFL/EPIC) and Literature at the level of higher education
- Open-minded and intellectually flexible
- Desire to teach holistically, engaging students in inquiry and discussion on a variety of themes
- Recommendations and teaching evaluations
