given by Rabbi Shlomo Kory

"To lie to another person is a sin.
To fool yourself is ridiculous."
--The Piaseczno Rebbe, author of "Chovas Hatalmidim"
We all make mistakes!
However, many of our mistakes can be avoided.
One reason people make mistakes is because of erroneous beliefs we have.
In this new series we will explore:
--how erroneous beliefs can cause people to make major mistakes in life
--how to become aware of our erroneous beliefs
--how we can correct them
In the first session you will learn about "Cause -Effect" types of beliefs. "If I do A, then B will result" .
Of course, sometimes this is true , but many times it is not.
Here are two examples of a "cause-effect" belief:
---If I work hard, the company will give me a raise in salary".
---If I give my children a special treat they will love me ."
The seminar is on Zoom and is free.
We will begin iy"H this Tuesday evening, כב' כסלו, Dec. 5, at 8:45.
