We’re a dynamic, fast-growing energy consultancy helping property managers, businesses, and producers navigate the UK energy market. Our team of 55 people includes a mixture of office-based and remote workers. We work closely to deliver expert advice, unbeatable procurement, and strategic account management.
We’re now looking for a full-time Talent & People Operations Manager who can confidently lead recruitment while owning and improving the employee experience across the business.
What You’ll Do:
Recruitment Onboarding (Primary Focus – ~50%):
- Own the entire recruitment lifecycle: headhunting, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers.
- Partner with department leads to understand hiring needs and fill roles efficiently with top-tier candidates.
- Proactively build a pipeline of talent for key roles.
- Coordinate smooth remote onboarding for new hires, including documentation, systems access, and team welcome.
- Design and refine job descriptions, interview guides, and onboarding templates.
People Operations & HR Support:
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HR admin (contracts, holidays, etc.) via our internal systems.
- Track and report KPIs and performance data for internal teams.
- Assist with compliance and policy documentation, updating the staff handbook as needed.
- Support employee relations and provide a friendly point of contact for people- related queries.
Employee Engagement & Culture:
- Launch and manage “Employee of the Week” and other recognition schemes (with a defined rewards structure).
- Plan and coordinate staff outings, virtual events, and team-building activities.
- Organize and deliver internal training sessions or learning resources with input from department heads.
- Run staff surveys and pulse checks, summarizing feedback for management and following up with actions.
Internal Comms & Collaboration:
- Create engaging internal newsletters or update emails to keep the team informed and connected.
- Support leadership in planning virtual all-hands meetings or internal Q&A sessions.
- Become a champion for our bespoke software—offering tips, light training, and collecting user feedback.
About You:
- You have experience in end-to-end recruitment—you love finding the right person for the job.
- You’re organized, people-focused, and comfortable wearing many hats.
- You’ve worked in remote or hybrid teams and know how to build engagement at a distance.
- You’re confident working independently, using sound judgment to prioritize and solve problems.
- A big plus is familiarity with HR practices and experience in small, fast-moving teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the energy, consultancy, or property management sectors.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems or HRIS tools.
- A creative flair for staff engagement, team communications, or internal events.
Location: Bet Shemesh with some flexibility in working from home.
