The US Embassy in Tel Aviv will only accept the paperwork for renewing a passport if it is delivered by a professional shaliach--(courier service).
You aren't allowed to go there in person and hand them an envelope (yes, I tried!).
Does anybody in the TelAviv area have a recommendation for which courier service to use?
(I hate the idea of giving my passport to a random kid on a motorbike ! )
