We are an international network of companies providing added value services that support the development of fair, transparent, competitive and efficient diamond and jewelry markets. We are looking for an IT Project Manager.
The role of the IT Project Manager includes duties frequently performed by Product Managers such as development of the Product Specifications (HLR) documents, User Stories. oversight of a development team in an Agile production environment. The Project Manager is not responsible for the Market Research, ROI and other aspects of the products definition, but is included in the meetings with the Business Owner and Marketing Team where decisions are made about the products and services being developed. The primary role of the project manager will be to work with the team leader, developers, QA, architect and DevOps to ensure the product is created effectively and efficiently.
A successful candidate is someone that can handle shifting priorities, manage timelines for development teams and liaise with product teams.
The IT Project Manager candidate should have proven experience in defining product requirements, a complete understanding of software development processes, excellent command of agile methodologies and be comfortable working in and managing an agile development environment.
Responsibilities:
- Turn executive decisions into product requirements and deliverables.
- Work with Product Owners coordinating priorities and requests
- Communicate with Business Owners and write specification documents (HLRs) that describe the IT product and all its features. The high level document must be easily understood by management.
- Write technical user stories that ensure the effective and efficient creation of the necessary product as defined by the HLR. Understanding of technical HLD and its implementation.
- Inform management about the resources requirements required to complete projects and advise the cost of features so that management can consider the cost benefit of various features.
- Plan and manage the sprints for the IT projects and the set delivery deadlines.
- Oversee implementation and ongoing operational requirements to ensure a proper sprint cycle
- Maintain a proper well documented spring backlog with ready-to-go user stories.
- Track project milestones, open issues and deliverables
- Track resource utilization by project and by division
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans
- Communicate project updates and independently manage project deadlines
- Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations
Requirements:
- Expert at writing user stories and system requirement documents
- At least 3 years of project management experience
- Experience in Agile Methodology.
- Native English speaker with excellent communication skills
- Excellent self-starter with exceptional time management skills and great attention to detail
- Deep understanding of software development processes

This is a full time position with a hybrid schedule- 2 days per week in the downtown Jerusalem office.
