A leading financial organization is looking for an experienced COBOL developer to lead end-to-end projects in the core systems and collections domain.
What Your Day Will Look Like:
- Developing critical systems in the core and collections areas, with full technical responsibility throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Close collaboration with specification, testing, infrastructure, and information security teams to ensure a high-quality and stable product.
- Reverse Engineering work on code to improve and streamline existing processes.
What You Need to Bring to the Role:
- Over 5 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years of COBOL AS400 development experience – mandatory!
- Significant experience in development for life insurance/collections systems – mandatory.
- Experience working in insurance companies – mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Ability to independently learn and work with complex code.
