IT Technical Writer
The Rapaport Group is an international network of companies providing added value services that support the development of fair, transparent, competitive and efficient diamond and jewelry markets. We are looking for an IT Technical Writer.
The IT Technical Writer should have proven experience writing about technical projects and an ability to view the entire project quickly and express it to all relevant departments.
This is a part-time position based in Jerusalem, Israel.

Responsibilities:
- Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of projects and requirements
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Write easy-to-understand technical texts and guides that cover:
- Design overview
- Data requirements
- Data mapping
- Connectivity
- Security
- Use photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation and charts that increase developers’ understanding enabling them to create the needed user stories and programming
- Quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
Requirements:
- Native English speaker
- Lives in the Jerusalem area or nearby and willing to commute daily
- Work experience in technical writing of software documentation
- Ability to deliver high quality documentation with acute attention to detail
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Excellent written skills
- University degree in Computer Science or Engineering
