You are cordially invited to hear the personal story of defrauded investor in an electric bike/lithium-ion battery stock scam, Joel Caplan American-Israeli. My 10 year saga,just to get paid from the China-based e-bike company took a negative turn in December of 2019 when our New York Attorney gave up after trying to negotiate with the Chinese since 2015 when the Court Case 9542-VCMR was won in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
Our 100 million dollar United States Court Judgment was basically worthless in the PRC which does not honor or enforce Unites States Court Judgements. The electric bike and battery company disappeared in the PRC after raising $100,000,000 capital through their NASDAQ Listing to fund their operations (just like Luckin Coffee). This is footage from an $85,000,000 lithium-ion battery company that just vanished.
Astonishingly, there have been over 200 China-based companies that also got deregistered by the SEC amounting to over 300 Billion dollars in US capital disappearing!!!! Activist investors after years of hard work obtained about 25 total court-appointed receiverships. None of which could be collected on equitably. Most investors already knew that US court judgements are not enforceable in China but this is not in the “material risk” section of most 10-k’s and 10’q’s so they can lie and write blank checks.
As the global community learns about “what China knew” in Wuhan and “when they knew it?”, and as we deal with the very tragic loss of life in our communities and families, we must also become aware of where our investment dollars are going and we must stop funding the bad actors in China and funding the CCCP.
Accordingly, China must choose between becoming honest and transparent and becoming a global partner with other democracies or to continue on the very risky path but they have recently chosen with the lifelong appointment of President Xi and now the National Security Law in Hong Kong.
My own story is a cautionary tale and I will continue to tell it from the hills of Jerusalem until Justice for myself and for others is achieved. Prime Minister XI AND Zhigou Fu this is to you!!! In the end with Hashem’s help, I will achieve justice and donate to worthy cause as I was once able to do.
