AACI CENTRAL REGION: Visit to Neot Kedumim

Join us for our special visit to Neot Kedumim (near Modiin)

Neot Kedumim is the world's only Biblical nature reserve, spread across 625 acres of restored landscape, hidden in the quiet and picturesque foothills of Judea. It is dotted with olive groves, wheat fields and vineyards, recreating the physical setting of the Bible.

We will have a guided tour in English connecting the Bible with nature and the land of Israel.

The guided tour includes:

• An interactive visit to some of the following ancient agricultural installations – drawing water from cisterns, activating olive presses, discovering how wine was made, learning and demonstrating the different stages of ancient bread making at the threshing floors, and much more…..

• Discovering typical Biblical plants of the forest of 'Milk and Honey' and the Land of the Seven Species, such as date palms, olive trees, almond trees, myrtle bushes, sycamore trees, oak trees, sage plants, hyssop plants, caper bushes, etc. (depending on the season), and discussing their significance and symbolism in our culture.

*Special bonus: We will crush dried hyssop leaves to make Za'atar spice and bake our own pitot to take home as souvenirs.*
