Afternoon Kitchen Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Menus for the educational programs, World Center events and VIP groups.
  • Kitchen policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Staff responsibilities & schedules.
  • Supplies, storage & inventory control.
  • Budgeting and cost control.
  • Development of the catering services and systems.
  • Supervise kitchen equipment, maintenance and cleaning.

Skills and abilities required:

  • 5 years+ of experience in catering and kitchen management.
  • Experience with planning and creating multiple menus.
  • Understanding of food hygiene & health and safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal & team working skills.
  • Administrative ability and IT literacy.
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew.

Working hours and location:

  • Sunday to Thursday, 2 pm to 9 pm
  • Old City, Jerusalem
