For our new product team, we are looking for an exceptional Tech Lead to help create and shape the next generation of the Point-of-Sale systems, a product that's simple and intuitive. You will help with recruiting and the development of the team. You will lead technology research, software design, and development end-to-end– from concepts and prototypes to production release.

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development aspects and deliveries of the mobile POS system
- Delegating work and assignments to team members
- Collaborating with your team to identify and fix technical problems
- Guiding your team through technical issues and challenges
- Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team
- Work with the other development teams to optimize solutions and project efficiency within the company ecosystem
- Work closely with VP of R&D to research possible new technologies and implement them
- Make direct technical contributions as well as provide guidance and direction to team members
- Help in the recruitment efforts of the product engineering team
- Work closely with product manager and designer to deliver amazing products
- Work with the other development teams to optimize system architecture and project
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.
Requirements:
- BSc in computer science of a known university\college or equivalent experience
- Experience leading a team as both a deep technical leader and a thoughtful people manager.
- 5 years of experience developing B2C applications as an Android Kotlin developer, or Backend developer, or Fullstack developer.
- Experience with large-scale software development including software maintenance, resolving significant technical issues as well as providing direction for new software technology/process development activities to meet specific product goals.
- Strong knowledge of system architecture, best practices, and design patterns
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent English skills, both verbal and written
Preferred skills:
- M.Sc in computer science
- Experience with POS systems
- In-depth knowledge in android native mobile application development
Experience with one or a combination of the following:
- Hands-on experience in Android mobile app architecture, flow, design, implementation, and release including proficiency in Java and Kotlin languages to write clear, readable, and maintainable code
- Significant recent experience in VueJS building mobile-enabled solutions utilizing a mobile-enabled web UI
- Experience with the design and development of highly available services and infrastructure with solid knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL preferred)
