Responsibilities
• Implement and optimize audio-speech algorithms on customized software DSPs using C++
• Actively participate in code reviews and design reviews.
• Ability to translate clinical requirements to software specifications, model and implement those on a timely basis, look at existing implementations, and optimize performance continuously.
• Interact with platform stack developers, application engineers, QA, and clinicians regularly to ensure meeting requirements and specifications.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of C++ experience and familiarity with modern C++ features, with the ability to understand and debug heavily threaded code
• 3+ years of experience of designing and implementing complex real-time systems development using C++ software-integrated DSPs in a web environment, including wasm integration in JS and other web platforms.
• Familiarity with code profiling and optimization techniques. Such as performing low-level SW optimization at the instruction level by loop optimization, vectorization, pipelining, data layout re-organization, and cache/memory management.
• Experience in MATLAB modeling, programming DSP
• Knowledge in the field of audio/speech signal processing, microphones and speakers processing, audio amplifiers
• Proficiency with debugging & profiling tools
• Advantage - Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Science/Physics or other relevant major
• Advantage - Good knowledge base and prototyping experience in one of the following areas: computer vision/image processing/computer graphics/machine learning / deep learning
