We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager with CPA-level expertise to oversee financial operations, ensure high-quality deliverables, and provide strategic accounting insights. This role requires a seasoned professional who can manage complex client interactions, supervise deliverables, and guide teams toward achieving financial excellence. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience (minimum 8 years) in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in public accounting, ensuring proficiency in managing multiple demanding clients simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Interaction:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships.
- Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to clients, tailoring advice to their business needs.
- Address client queries promptly, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with expectations.
Deliverable Oversight:
- Oversee and review all financial deliverables, including reports, reconciliations, and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Monitor timelines and quality to ensure deliverables are met consistently and effectively.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Manage and mentor the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Provide guidance and training on best practices and emerging accounting trends.
- Delegate tasks effectively while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
Strategic Financial Management:
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and drive decision-making.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate policies.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency in financial operations and reporting.
- Implement tools and processes to improve accuracy and streamline workflows.
Public Accounting Expertise:
- Leverage experience in public accounting to manage the demands of multiple clients.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery while balancing competing priorities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles (minimum of 8 years required).
- At least 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a proven track record of managing multiple demanding clients simultaneously.
- CPA-level expertise (formal CPA qualification not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, ERP systems).
