Physics Teacher for Maternity Leave Required
Part-time Position from February 2022 – June 2022

Job Purpose
- To teach Physics within the framework of the IBMYP and IBDP Curricula.
General Responsibilities
The post holder will be expected to carry out all duties in the context of and in compliance with all the school policies. This includes:
- Teaching physics to middle school and high school students within the International Baccalaureate programs.
- Having an excellent command of English.
- Being aware of Health & Safety Regulations relevant to the areas of work (e.g. fire regulations, IB MYP and DP program safety guidelines and requirements).
- Undertaking any other tasks as directed by the Science Coordinator commensurate with the post.
- To follow the prescribed lessons and units by the physics teacher.
- To mark assessments and record them on the schools Learning Management System.
- This post is part-time during the AISJ School Calendar and working week (Monday-Friday) and the expected hours of work are subject to negotiation within school hours Monday-Thursday 07:30-14:30; Friday 07:30-13:00.
