Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a SAAS Company Project Manager for Software Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of software development projects, from initiation to delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage software development projects throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, and QA engineers to define project requirements, create project plans, and allocate resources effectively.
- Implement and maintain best practices for project management, including risk management, change management, and issue resolution.
- Facilitate regular project status dissemination, providing updates to stakeholders, identifying and addressing project risks, and driving resolution of issues.
- Optimize our resource pool across multiple projects, balancing workload and priorities to maximize team productivity.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying deviations from plan and implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct post-project reviews and retrospectives to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in a fast paced software development environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (including Agile) and best practices for managing the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate teams, drive results, and resolve conflicts.
- Experience managing remote teams and working in a remote environment.
- Native-level English proficiency is required.
- PMP, Prince2, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
