Acquire For Yourself A Friend
-- Pirkei Avot
If the path to emotional healing is a clear understanding of our pain,
a good friend can help you get there.
A good friend is a shoulder to lean on.
A good friend is a mirror that reflects back our light and our darkness.
A good friend asks probing questions that help us reach a deeper understanding.
I offer you my friendship.
My name is Alon. I am not a trained therapist. I can’t diagnose and I’m not qualified to give advice. But for the last 3 years I’ve participated in a men’s emotional health group that has saved my marriage, my spirituality, and helped me confront lifelong emotional pain. Now I want to “pay forward” the blessings I received.
There is no charge. I feel I have as much to benefit from this process as you.
I’m looking for people with a similar life experience: married men, Haredi, religious, Baalei Teshuva, or otherwise.
Located in the Old City, Jerusalem.
