Legal Assistant – Global Immigration Law

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a legal research assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment specializing in Global Immigration law. While no prior experience is necessary, a “can do” attitude, a willingness to learn, and strong teamwork skills are essential. A Bachelor’s degree in related fields is an advantage. The successful candidate should be a native-level English speaker with intermediate/limited working proficiency in Hebrew. No specific legal experience is necessary, but a Bachelor’s degree in related fields is advantageous such as creative English writing or philosophy or anything else relevant. Advantage to anyone who has any UK, US, or Canadian immigration law experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to attorneys in all aspects of case management.
• Conduct legal research and assist in the preparation of legal documents.
• Communicate with clients and government agencies.
• Manage and organize case files.
• Assist in drafting correspondence and legal forms.
• Creating and writing legal petitions and letters.
• Reviewing material sent by clients.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective workflow.

Qualifications:

• No prior experience is necessary.
• A bachelor’s degree in related fields is an advantage.
• “Can do” attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Native-level proficiency in English.
• Intermediate/limited working proficiency in Hebrew.

Starting Date: 1st January 2024

Position: Full-time in our Ramat Gan office (opportunity for two days a week to work from home).
