The Fulbright commission in Israel is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of U.S. Programs and Projects Coordinator.
Status: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Location: Moses House, 74 Rothschild Blvd., Tel Aviv
Responsibilities include support with:
- Handling the process of selecting candidates for the Fulbright program
- Managing the portfolios of candidates and fellows. Administration and logistics at a high level.
- Daily ongoing contact and correspondence with fellows, including attending to their needs and well-being
- Preparation of seminars and enrichment programs for Fellows and Alumni
- Branding the program and establishing it as a leader in its field
- Marketing and recruitment for programs
- Maintaining collaborations that will allow future growth and sustainability of programs
- Follow up with academic and industry fields.
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- English mother tongue and excellent oral and written communication skills in Hebrew
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a team
- Great interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurship and original thinking
- Ability to work intensively and logistically – excellent attention to details and precision
- Computer and tech-savvy
- Understanding of academic institutions in the U.S.A. and Israel
- Experience working in an international and multi-cultural environment – advantage
