We are seeking a skilled and reliable bookkeeper to fill in for our current bookkeeper/manager who will be going on maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks and financial records using QuickBooks.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the team.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours to respond to US-based inquiries.
This role has the potential to become a permanent position if the fit is right.
The position is remote, requiring 20-25 hours per week during the training period, and 30-35 hours per week once maternity leave begins.
