We are seeking for career minded, experienced and motivated individual for full-time position as Payroll Specialist.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Preparing reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wage
  • Working with payroll service providers to process payroll for multiple entities in various jurisdictions ensuring compliance with applicable laws and payroll tax obligations
  • Reconciling payroll prior to transmission and validating confirmed reports
  • Preparing journal entries for the Accounting General Ledger, reviewing and reconciling monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Monitoring changes and keeping current on legal, regulatory or governmental requirements in countries where FXCM operates incl. the USA (e.g. wage and hour, garnishments, tax matters, 401(k) and other benefit deductions)
  • Facilitating audits by providing records and documentation to auditors
  • Collaborating with HR and Accounting teams to ensure data is accurate, complete and booked correctly
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field
  • Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control and payroll taxes
  • 4+ years of global payroll related experience - preferably USA, UK, Israel, Hong Kong, Australia, Cyprus, Greece, Germany, Bulgaria, South Africa
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Attention to details and focus on accuracy
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task are required
  • High level of computer literacy with strong Excel skills

Office Location: Har Hotzvim, Jerusalem (Work is from home until government restrictions are lifted.)
Hours: Full time 42.5 hours per week. (Monday-Friday for initial training period, with Friday as a shortened day.)
