We are a non-profit organization in the heart of Jerusalem for transformative encounters with Torah and Israel for people of various ages and stages of Jewish life and learning. We are currently seeking an experienced administrative manager to streamline campus administration and operations and work closely with staff and participants to ensure effective program delivery. This position will report to our COO.
Responsibilities Include:
● Managing office calendars and meetings for members of the executive team
● Managing the general inquiry inbox
● Coordinating room usage for assorted programs and visiting groups
● Communicating with tech, logistical, vendors, and maintenance providers and overseeing related projects
● Ordering and managing resources including office supplies and equipment
● Tracking and documenting expenses
● Performing assorted tasks related to basic reception/phone/walk-in inquiries
● Assisting executive team with correspondence, scheduling, travel, and other tasks as assigned
● Providing staff and faculty with administrative assistance
● Designing marketing materials for Rabbinical staff
Requirements:
● Fluent English and Hebrew (mother-tongue or MT level)
● Experience of 3+ years in administration and office management
● Patient and friendly, and with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
● Strong work ethic, with ability to work independently or as part of a team
● Detail-oriented with strong ability to multi-task and learn in a dynamic environment
● Strong written and verbal skills in both English and Hebrew
● Familiarity with Canva and basic graphic design skills
● Basic social media skills
● High-level proficiency with full Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
● Experience with basic bookkeeping - an advantage.
This is a full-time position, working hours Sunday-Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM, with some flexibility
