● BA (MA preferred) in Hebrew/Arabic, language instruction or other relevant education field
● A minimum of two years proven track record in teaching Hebrew/Arabic to Elementary School age students and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice. ● Prior experience working in international school settings.
● Fluency in the English language (spoken, written and reading)
● Fluency in Hebrew and Arabic
● Familiarity and experience working with Google, Seesaw, or similar technology platforms
● Warm, joyful, friendly, and flexible attitude.
● Forward-thinking, creative, reflective, innovative.
● A collaborative approach to teaching and working with others.
● Previous experience working with elementary school-aged children.
● Understanding of a co-teaching model
● Desire to develop and create a diverse Cultures of Israel program
● Guide practice according to the WBAIS Mission, Vision & Profile of a Learner. ● Build meaningful relationships and interact with children in a warm and respectful manner that instills joy in learning and nurtures critical thinking, independence and a positive self-concept.
● Participate in faculty meetings and in ongoing professional development. Take initiative to seek out opportunities to build on knowledge.
● Collaborate with other Elementary staff in the implementation of a child-centered program, including preparation, organization and supervision of stimulating learning experiences that support the holistic development of all students.
● Design a comprehensive and balanced array of activities which meet the students’ needs in fostering their affective and cognitive development
