Job Description – Assistant Controller

Buligo Capital Partners, a private equity real estate firm, is searching for an assistant controller to join the team in Israel (Bursa area in Ramat Gan). The assistant controller will support the corporate controller and asset management team in all accounting-related activities within the company. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the accountability of Buligo’s financial resources and protecting investor assets. Some of the duties and responsibilities of the assistant controller will include:

• Reviewing monthly financial statements of properties under management, and consulting with the controller and/or asset managers on discrepancies or problems
• Establishing internal control systems to prevent errors in financial statements
• Maintaining books and records and reconciling accounts
• Reviewing budgets and reports
• Annual US tax preparation and reporting

Assistant Controller Requirements

-Background in Accounting, preferably licensed in the US as a CPA

-4-7 years’ experience in U.S. taxation

-Knowledge of Intuit Quickbooks, preferred

-Excellent communication skills

-Strong attention to detail

-English mother tongue
