The Company 

At Yad Ezra V’shulamit, we’ve been feeding Israel’s poor since 1988. Our founder has built a charity that now operates across the entire country. While we primarily focus on food baskets, and getting children out of poverty, we run many other projects that help the poor survive day to day. We exclusively serve the Jewish community and marketing in a modest way with privacy in mind is important to us. 

The Role

As the Director of Marketing, your role will be to build brand awareness and increase donations in English speaking countries world-wide. You will have ownership of the whole suite of marketing programs that you will develop and run, including ad campaigns, digital, and brand. You will work alongside the diverse sales teams, other-language marketing teams, and various external suppliers. You will also manage two designers, a web developer, social media and digital agencies. The job is versatile, working from home and part time flexible hours is on offer. What We’re Looking For We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who is hungry to do this and more. Our ideal candidate has at least 5-6 years of experience developing and executing holistic marketing campaigns while managing and inspiring a team. They will be comfortable with day-to-day marketing activities, as well as long-term strategy, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. If you are a people-person who loves the rewarding challenge of building a brand, we want to hear from you. You should have an EXCELLENT eye for design and detail and be able to be the brand champion in all creative aspects. Your wordsmithing skills will be on par too, needing to write striking emails, ads, and landing pages that increase click throughs and conversion. Significant knowledge and experience leading digital projects, including managing the build of websites and forms that convert is expected. You do NOT need experience in non-profits, especially Jewish ones, and those who have wider B2C experience will be favored. 

Objectives of this Role

● Develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments. 

● Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration. 

● Analyze data and marketing best practices to build successful strategies. 

● Partner with various teams to design, develop and execute tactics in order to increase donations. Inspire and manage expectations of Senior Managers about your strategies and tactics. 


Skills and Qualifications 

● Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field

● Proven experience developing multi-channel ad campaigns 

● Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills 

● Strong eye for creativity and exceptional language skills 

● UX/UI understanding for managing web designer and developer. 

● Understanding of all online marketing and social media platforms ●

Confidence and ability to manage up 

● Metrics-driven marketing, making decisions based on analytics, results, and data No Hebrew necessary but would be an advantage
