Alerts sounded in Ashkelon, Sderot and Netivot.

The Israel Defense Forces on Thursday intercepted a drone launched by Houthi terrorists in Yemen over the Red Sea.

The drone, which was headed for Israel's southernmost city of Eilat, did not cross into Israeli airspace, according to the military.

The Israel Defense Forces was probing whether the incident was a false alarm.

Also on Thursday, the Israeli Air Force intercepted an attack drone launched “from the east” into southern Israel, the IDF said, using a phrase that typically refers to an attack originating from Iraq.

No injuries were reported in the incident, which did not trigger alarms according to protocol, the military said.

A blast that occurred in a residential high-rise building in the central Israeli city of Yavne, northeast of Ashdod, on Monday morning was caused by a drone launched from Yemen.
