Tour Specialist

Dekel Israel Tours is hiring a Tour Specialist for a full-time position. The Tour Specialist manages all aspects of an incoming tour, including initial client contact, building a custom itinerary, creating a formal proposal (pricing), creating all bookings and reservations, and managing all day-to-day operations leading up to and during the tour.

About us: We are a vibrant and growing incoming (primarily US/Can) tour operator based out of Binyamina, and we’re looking to expand our team. As a family-style company, we work collaboratively in an environment that encourages everyone to share their unique strengths toward the singular goal of delivering the highest quality client experience possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Client communication (phone and email)
• Trip-building (itinerary and proposal)
• Bookings and logistics (accommodations, transportations, guiding services, etc.)
• Trip management (day-to-day)
• Small-scale special event coordination
• Tourism Team support, when needed

Must-haves:

• Native English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Ability to communicate in Hebrew
• Computer and Internet proficiency
• Comfort learning new software systems
• Ability to work independently AND as part of a team
• Excellent and clear communication
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Comfort working with numbers
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility & multi-tasking

About the position:

• Full-time (40 hours/week)
• Requires some evening availability
• Based out of Binyamina (3-minute walk from the train; 25-30 minutes by train from both Tel Aviv and Haifa)
• Reports to Director of Tourism
