System Administrator – Level I/II

Start date: ASAP

Location: Remote (permanent work from home), part-time (growing to full-time)

Client: US company

Hours: Israel hours (EST)

Salary range: TBD - generally equal to or higher than market rates

Tools required: Computer, noise cancellation headset, stable internet

Objective: The IT Administrator is responsible for supporting the organization's day-to-day IT operations. This role involves maintaining the company's IT systems, providing technical support to employees, and assisting with the management of network infrastructure. This position works closely with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of all technology systems and to support users in resolving technical issues.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.• Assist users with setting up and configuring new hardware and software.• Document support requests and resolutions for easy tracking and reference.• Coordinate with external clients (in the USA) and internal customers from around the globe.

System Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, backups, and system checks.• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.• Assist with the installation and configuration of new systems and applications.• Assist in managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

Document and Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of IT procedures, configurations, and changes.• Generate reports on system performance, user support requests, and IT incidents.

Project Support

• Assist with IT projects, such as system upgrades and new technology deployments.• Collaborate with the IT team to implement best practices and improve existing processes.• Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team.

Job Requirements:

• Good written and spoken English communication._• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.• Experience in Cloud environment (eg. Azure, AWS) is a plus• Experience in a similar role is a plus• Customer-oriented and cool-tempered.• Willingness to build professional relationships with staff and clients.• BSc/BA/ Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field.
