Location: Jerusalem
Position Type: Part-Time (6 hours a day, 5 days a week)
Travel Requirement: Must be available to travel to the U.S. approximately 4 times a year for 2-3 weeks each trip
We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator with a background in consumer packaged goods (CPG) to drive our expansion into major retail chains. Based in Jerusalem, this role is ideal for a proactive individual with hands-on experience in penetrating new markets and retail chains, navigating buying processes, and managing product submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and establish relationships with major retail chains, leading efforts to introduce our product line and secure shelf space in new markets
- Oversee the submission process for product placement, including preparation and timely submission of required documents and proposals
- Utilize industry-standard platforms and processes to manage and track submissions, maintain compliance with retailer requirements, and ensure timely follow-up
- Represent the company during quarterly U.S. visits, strengthening client relationships and promoting product expansion
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment on strategic goals and provide insights to support account growth
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in business development within the CPG sector, specifically with major retail chains
- Familiarity with submission processes, including documentation requirements and platforms used by large retailers
- Strong organizational skills, a detail-oriented approach, and proficiency in MS Office and other CRM tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships in a fast-paced environment
