BDM is a progressive international healthcare billing and recovery firm located in Tel Aviv. BDM is currently looking for an English, and preferably also French speaking experienced professional for a full time, work-from-home position as a Billing Agent; any additional language spoken is a definite asset. The successful candidate will be required to be a self-motivated, organized and flexible individual. Part of the Billing Agent’s role will require work during North American (Canada) and European time zones.
Responsibilities will include:
- Locating and contacting patients internationally to make arrangements on settlement of their healthcare (Hospital, and other providers) accounts and collect the amounts due.
- Helping patients complete the claims process with their insurance companies.
- Working with insurance companies worldwide in order to complete and negotiate the claims process and settle an account.
- Communicating by telephone and email with patients and insurance companies during work hours in time zones of English speaking countries (primarily Canada and Australia).
Skills and qualifications required for the position include:
- Superior oral and written communication skills
- Honed analytical and investigative skills
- Proven negotiation and resolution skills
- Multilingual, multi-cultural and cultural sensitivity
- Past experience in varied commercial industries, related to insurance and health industries – a benefit
- Undergraduate University degree, at minimum.
