Working closely with the Executive Director, the Director of Resource Development will develop and implement the organization’s fundraising strategy, steward existing donors and find new sources of support.
Responsibilities:
Engage existing and potential supporters for both general and program-specific support.
Identify new donors, including foundations, federations, corporations and individuals.
Compose succinct LOI’s, full proposals, and reports
Organize events, plan site visits and host delegations.
Cultivate relationships with donors through in-person and virtual meetings, communication and events.
Maintain systems for tracking leads, grant requests, grant execution, and donor recognition
Collaborate in Hebrew with senior staff and field workers.
Manage PR and marketing efforts including social media and crowdfunding.
Requirements:
Excellent spoken and written English (ideally mother tongue level)
Fluent Hebrew
At least three years of resource development experience
Excellent time management skills including ability to meet deadlines
Willing to occasionally work unconventional hours
Detail-oriented
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Familiar with digital marketing and fundraising platforms
Knowledge of Salesforce is an advantage
Experience with Jewish Federations is an advantage
The position is full-time at our offices in Lod with the potential to become hybrid.
