Exciting Fintech company creating the most cutting edge technologies seeks a Cloud SRE Engineer to join its team.
Responsibilities:
· Support our daily cloud operations both in the cloud and on-prem for production systems
· Responsible for supporting and maintaining the infrastructure, installations, deployments, and configuration of web services and deployment environments, including:
· Creating Kubernetes clusters and Linux servers
· Supporting services like Nginx and other load balancers
· Manage and provision AWS resources
· Work closely with developers/DevOps to design architecture on new projects and applications from the idea to production
· Improve building and developing the cloud environment and guide the team on best practices
· Be available outside of normal hours for support calls and communicate with the NOC team regarding any issues that arise
Requirements:
· 3+ years experience in a similar role in a cloud-based company, with hands-on Kubernetes experience
· Experience with AWS cloud
· Experience with Infrastructure as a Code tools such as Terraform, Packer or Ansible, etc.
· Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc.
· Experience with a scripting language such as Bash or Python
· Strong knowledge in Linux servers (such as CentOS, RedHat or Ubuntu)
· Experience with a web server such as Nginx, Apache or Load balancer
· Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) in English and Hebrew
· Ability to work some US hours and be on call if needed, outside of a normal schedule
It’s a bonus if you have:
· Deep knowledge of Elasticsearch
· Experience with a message queue system such as RabbitMQ
· Programming knowledge and experience
