Overview

A commercial-stage medical device company with proprietary and innovative stent designs with integrated embolic prevention systems (EPS) delivering neurovascular protection and stroke prevention. Proprietary MicroNet mesh addresses the primary shortcomings and harmful consequences of conventional Carotid stenting and surgery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact of warehouses, responsible for shipment data/documentation and physical inventory status and reconciliation discrepancies
  • Initiate internal processes to flag missing, out-of-spec, or damaged inbound stock and support through investigations with peers and team members
  • Perform the dispatch and receipt of sterilized products from the recognized Sterilization service providers
  • Perform inventory management activities of all physical inventory that resides in the inbound and outbound logistics sphere including but not limited to production materials, sterilized product, finished goods, final packaging supplies, …
  • Manage physical inventory including but not limited to inventory counts (quarterly and perpetual), stock levels of consumables and key components in all warehouses
  • Inform supply chain, operations, commercial and of planned inbound and outbound supply activities, including liaising with all key stack holders in relation to inbound and outbound shipping documentation requirements
  • Liaise with the operations team (e.g. Supply Chain Manager, Production Manager) to ensure complete documentation to support inbound flow of product
  • Perform in compliance with all QA and Supply Chain SOPs and work instructions all activities in relation to the material acceptance, packaging of final product as well as re-packaging activities
  • Execute logistics activities in compliance with our Quality and EHS standards

Requirements

  • The role requires the individual to be highly numerate with good knowledge of how supply chains operate end-to-end.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Supply Chain / Logistics / Customer Service operation, ideally in a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and/or FMCG environment
  • Some experience of managing relationships with 3rd party logistics providers
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in a warehouse environment
  • The role requires an individual who understands the quality implications for all inbound and outbound supply as well as logistics.
  • Effective communication is required especially with all LSPs / freight forwarders
  • Good English
  • Team Player
