Linux Systems Engineer

Description:
Working with an operations team of highly skilled system and network engineers
Implement security projects on various server and networking platforms
Installation, monitoring and maintenance of hardware and software
Writing of scripts to automate jobs/processes
Workplace is located in Jerusalem
Requirements:
5 years’ experience in system administration (primarily Linux)– supporting a production environment
Must be a team player with initiative, ability to work independently and be able to see complex projects through to their completion.
Scripting in at least one language (bash/perl/python)
Experience with deployment and debugging of complex applications
Experience with databases including MySQL & mongodb
Experience with cloud based services & virtualization (AWS, VMWare)
Experience with networking and security concepts including Juniper Firewalls
Verbal and written communication skills in English.
Advantages:
Past experience working with real time applications that are up 24x7
Experience working on security initiatives (ie implementing ISO 27001 technical controls)
Familiarity with opsview monitoring system
