We are seeking a motivated and strategic Speaker Recruiter to join our dynamic team, responsible for recruiting venture capitalists, corporate investors, and angel investors to speak at our conferences.
Responsibilities:
- Research and Identify Prospective Speakers: Conduct thorough research to identify relevant business executives who can bring valuable insights and expertise to our conferences. Assess their industry influence and the current investment trends they are involved in.
- Targeted Outreach: Determine the key contact at the potential speaker's firm and initiate contact. Develop and maintain professional and persuasive communication.
- Answer Inquiries: Act as a primary point of contact for potential speakers, addressing their questions, concerns, and requests. Provide detailed information about the event, its themes, and the benefits of speaking.
- Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding process for confirmed speakers, ensuring they have all necessary information and support to prepare for their presentation. Collaborate with other teams to facilitate logistics and ensure a seamless speaker experience.
- Nurture Relationships: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with our speaker community to encourage their continued involvement in future events. Maintain regular communication to keep them engaged and informed.
- Stay Updated: Continuously monitor industry trends, investment landscapes, and emerging technologies to ensure that our speaker lineup remains relevant and cutting-edge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in recruitment, business development, or relationship management, preferably within the investment or event management industry.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills to identify influential speakers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade senior professionals.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled in managing multiple tasks with efficiency.
- Proficiency in using communication and collaboration tools.
- An understanding of the investment community, venture capital, and angel investing is a plus.
