The Associate Manager of Retail, Asia is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing operations related to ongoing projects in the region.

This role will support the retail brand’s strategic positioning to develop and execute marketing plans for launches and core and is responsible for implementing activations based on each market needs.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Develop marketing plans and lead the conversations with the Distributors/Retailers that elevate the brand while driving profitable sales growth.
  • Conceptualize, produce, and execute a 360-trade marketing strategy and retailer programming through new product/promotions launch, eventing, sampling, paid media, CRM, education, digital, and influencer outreach.
  • Track and measure all launches and campaigns and make adjustments and recommendations for future launches.
  • Ensure that the process, orders, regulations, updates and timelines are respected and understood by the different teams (Marketing, Regulation, Account Managers, etc.)
  • Weekly monitoring of retail’s accounts: track any discount, missing product, special banners, etc.
  • Monthly Sales analysis & performance of the retailers.
  • In charge of the content creation & coordination with the different teams in NY for digital, print and merchandising in period of launch or special activations across Europe.
  • In support for administrative tasks to prepare launch & special projects in line with retailer’s requirements (templates, content submission, etc.)
  • Work with the team on official presentations (internal & external)
  • Work under the guidance and supervision of the Business Development Manager, Asia

Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 years of similar experience as project manager/ marketing manager or a related field (Beauty industry is an advantage).
  • Fluent English in speaking and writing.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience running status calls/status documentation.
  • You are forward thinking and can think several steps ahead to spot any potential issues before they become a problem – raise flags when needed and bring solutions to the table.
  • Works well under pressure.
  • Experience working effectively in cross functional teams.
  • You’re a quick learner who can take direction and run with it.
