XConnect is looking for a new technician to work at the NOC (Network Operations Center).
The job is primarily supporting telecommunications companies that send query traffic through XConnect systems.
The job involves customer support, traffic analysis, signaling analysis, monitoring, research, and technical troubleshooting.
Full-time shift work; usually 8-9 hour shifts, 5 days a week.
Shifts may change from month to month, but they are usually steady and set well in advance.
This is suited to someone who has (by order of importance):
– An analytical mind
– Excellent multitasking ability
– A strong technical background
– Very good customer support skills
– Fluent English (writing, reading, and speaking)
– Very good Excel skills
– Familiarity with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
– Some familiarity with scripting
– Some familiarity with networking
– Some familiarity with the Telecom industry
