How much do you really know about Holon, Tel Aviv’s little sister?
Half-day tour organized especially for AACI by the Holon Municipality
Our visit to Holon will begin promptly at 10a.m. at the Design Museum of Holon (the beautiful building was designed by renowned Israeli architect and industrial designer Ron Arad). We will have an English tour of the “The Ball,” a multi-sensory theatrical exhibition of dress and eveningwear designs. The show offers a "fantastical journey through the history of balls, Western fashion, and contemporary Israeli designs" and includes gowns designed by Israel’s leading fashion designers.
Definitely not just for women!
Then our guide will take us (on a 10-15-minute walk) to the Mota Gur Story Garden, part of a unique project of environmental sculpture inspired by beloved Hebrew children's stories. Here we will learn about the story gardens and about the history of Holon and its special status today as the Children’s City.
Visit ends approximately 12:45p.m. At that time we can find a restaurant to have lunch or you are welcome to bring your own lunch along.
