Are you a natural born leader? Do you have a passion for Israel? Are you living in the Tel Aviv/Bat Yam/Rishon area? Onward Israel, an immersive internship program is looking for young energetic madrichim with excellent social skills, positive attitude, ability to multi-task and juggle a busy work load. Madrichim should feel comfortable addressing large groups, relating to US participants between the ages of 18-30, handling conflict resolution and being able to make decisions under pressure.

These positions are full-time for 2 / 2.5 months starting in June & July. (Some availability may be required before the start date for training.)

Responsibilities:

• Overall wellbeing of group participants
• Fostering a safe, fun and educational experience
• Planning & carrying out various activities (social, cultural, and educational)
• Participating in all program trips, group shabbats, activities and sessions
• Attending all Onward training days
• Assisting with a range of administrative and logistical duties
• Assisting with conflict resolution
• Available 24/7 to help participants

Requirements:

• Experience in counseling, education, and leading groups (previous madrichim experience preferred)
• Experience in Jewish education advantage but not required
• Good judgment and a strong moral and ethical code
• Ability to act in stressful situations
• Multitasking abilities
• Fluent in both Hebrew and English
• Great social skills- especially with young adults
• Organizational skills and outside the box thinking
• Located in Tel Aviv area / Bat Yam area
• Must be available 24/7
