My son who is currently in the army is applying for an US passport. The application asks if he was naturalized/sworn allegiance to a country other than the US and if he has entered/served in a foreign army. If the answer is "yes", explanations must be provided. Will answering "yes" cause complications with the application or with other things? What do others in similar situations do?
